After her parents were murdered by Nazis, Natasha Romanoff was picked up by USSR agents and inducted into the Department X Program. After training for years, she was brainwashed into a Soviet-loving killing machine called Black Widow.

Not only was she disciplined by the best fighters since childhood (including the Winter Soldier and Wolverine), she's been endowed with surgical enhancements that make her almost on par with Captain America. Her speed is so phenomenal, she can run 35mph and dodge bullets. This experiment also rendered her immune to infections and diseases.

And that's not even taking into account her skills as an assassin. Basically, Black Widow can kill you with anything. In 2014's Avengers #32, she admitted she can "grind up any red or orange crayon, mix it with hand soap to make a low-yield poison." She's so badass, she has killed someone with a skipping rope.

She's also armed with a retractable grappling hook, taser gauntlets, and an energy weapon called the Widow Bite. But because of her astounding fighting prowess, she doesn't need to rely on weapons to take down even the biggest threats.
