15 DEADLIEST Comic Book Assassins

6. Deadshot

Elektra Marvel
DC Comics

When he was a teenager, Floyd Lawton tried to shoot his father but accidentally blasted his brother dead. This traumatised Lawton so much, he vowed never to miss again.

When he became an assassin called Deadshot, his marksmanship skills were the stuff of legends. After a few years in the game, he was known as the man who never misses.

But when he failed to shoot Batman, he developed a burning hatred of the Dark Knight, since he served as a constant reminder of the time Deadshot killed his sibling.

This encouraged him to take steps to become an even more efficient hitman. Over the years, he has designed programmed bullets that can curve or change direction. He has guns mounted to his forearms so he cannot be disarmed. While on assignment, he wears a special mask that enhances his vision and hearing.

But for all his skills, what makes Deadshot a truly terrifying assassin is his ruthlessness. No matter how barbaric his mission is or how much collateral damage is expected, he will say yes to almost any job so long as he gets paid.
