11. Prometheus

Depending on how well versed you are in Justice League history, there's a very good chance that Prometheus isn't a name which will be instantly familiar to you. After all, unlike most of the other characters on this list, he's not some sort of alien overlord and doesn't even have superpowers. In fact, he's pretty much exactly like Batman, but rather than using his powers for good...well, why else do you think he ended up here?

The character's parents were criminals who were gunned down in front of him as a child, leading to the youngster swearing vengeance on all forms of justice. After taking a similar path to the Caped Crusader by inheriting a fortune, Prometheus trains himself up to the point where he feels confident enough to take on the League. In a later encounter with them, he was murdered by Green Arrow after killing a number of heroes!
