I'm not overly thrilled about putting Cyclops here (mostly because he's my favourite member of the X-Men), but the fact is that he's been portrayed in a villainous light in recent years, and for the most part, it's worked. Watching Scott Summers become more like Magneto than Professor X was fascinating, while seeing him being broken out of jail to lead a mutant revolution was one of the coolest moments in his entire history. Things all went a bit wrong when Brian Michael Bendis took over writing duties from Kieron Gillen, but as things currently stand in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Universe, Cyclops is widely viewed as a bad guy after an incident involving the Inhumans which has yet to be revealed. He's also believed to be dead, and while it's a shame to see the character treated this way, his brief legacy as a villain is an interesting one.
