Seriously, comic book companies must be full of people who hate marriage. Youd think that the lot of them are single bachelors angry with anyone and everyone who ties the knot. Within the past decade and a half, there have been more marriage controversies in comics than ever before. The prime DC example of this is the marriage between Clark Kent and Lois Lane. The Clark/Lois/Superman love triangle has been a major part of the Superman mythos since Action Comics #1 (1938), and in 1990 Clark finally revealed that he was Superman to Lois and simultaneously proposed: a natural progression for both characters. After a long complicated engagement, Clark and Lois finally got married in 1996. Then The New 52 happened (have you noticed a trend yet?), and DC erased the 15 years of marital bliss between Clark and Lois. In all fairness, DC put a ban on any of their heroes being married, fearing that marriage matures characters to the point of their conclusion; nevertheless, some relationships are too iconic to retcon.
Since childhood, Bryant has been an avid fan of superheroes, and he has been reading comic books since 2006. His full name is "George Bryant Lucas"; however, after enduring countless Darth Vader jokes, he has chosen to go by his middle name. Born and raised in the United States, Bryant is currently living with his lovely wife in the country side of Wiltshire County, UK. Bryant does suffer from a mild case of dyslexia; misspellings and homonyms are to be expected on occasion.
