Domino is best known as a member of the X-Force, a faction of the X-Men that takes a more liberal view of violence and aggression than its parent group. Domino was created by the US government with the aim of generating the ultimate fighting machine, but her power - the ability to manipulate her fortunes, and thus seem more "lucky" than other characters - was deemed to unpredictable to be a success. Not that it prevented her from becoming one of the most sought-after mercenaries in Marvel's franchise, however. Famed for teaming up with the time-travelling Cable and the crazed Deadpool, Domino combines her luck ability with excellent athleticism and impressive shooting accuracy. Although most of the time Domino was involved with groups like X-Force and Six Pack, in several incarnations (most notably Age Of Apocalypse) she is portrayed as being a deadly and sadistic bounty hunter with a relish for killing. Perhaps more of an anti-hero on the whole than a really villainous assassin, there is still no question that her impressive skills and willingness to do any job make Domino worthy of inclusion in any list of comic book assassins.
