Although she is now better known as the temperamental heroine of the film Guardians Of The Galaxy, Gamora started out as an assassin working for the all-powerful Thanos. She was employed to kill some fairly high-profile figures during this period, and was utterly loyal to her adoptive father. However, the moment that Gamora became a universally feared killer - known as the The Most Dangerous Woman In The Universe - was after she was outnumbered, raped and beaten by a gang of thugs. Thanos healed her and granted her supernatural abilities, making her one of the most powerful assassins around. Although she eventually became a hero, turning on Thanos and helping both The Avengers and GOTG, her skills and temper initially made her a killer to be feared. Gamora's look - green skinned with minimal costuming - is excellent, and it translated well to the big screen. Hopefully she gets more screen time in the second GOTG film though, as she was massively underdeveloped in the first.
