11. He Once Wore An Armoured Costume
After Frank Miller's stellar run, things for Daredevil took a weird and disappointing turn in the years which followed. After faking his death, the Man Without Fear re-emerged with an armoured costume, his first major redesign since switching from the yellow suit to the red one decades before. Needless to say, this was not a redesign ever embraced by fans! It was ultimately change for the sake of change in a decade which featured startling status quo shifts such as the return of Peter Parker's parents and the Death of Superman. Like those, this didn't last for long, and Daredevil was back in his classic red outfit two years after losing it. Surprisingly, the Netflix series has taken at least some inspiration from it.
