One woman who remained unscathed by being in a relationship with Daredevil is Black Widow, a surprising but effective and popular choice of love interest for the Man Without Fear. The two had a lot of adventures together before Frank Miller took over writing duties, and the title was even renamed "Daredevil And Black Widow" for a brief stint in the 1970s. However, their living arrangement was particularly strange. The Comics Code Authority kept a close eye on what happened back in those days, and one of their rules was that two unmarried people were not allowed to be shown living together. As a result, Daredevil and Black Widow were shown sleeping on separate floors of the same apartment building.
