9. The Kingpin Wasn't Originally A Daredevil Villain
While he's now best known for being a Daredevil villain, The Kingpin started off as one of Spider-Man's foes, making his debut in the pages of the wall-crawler's fiftieth issue. Frank Miller however decided to take the cartoonish bad guy and give him a makeover. He retained his imposing physical appearance, but emerged with a new personality. That was as a ruthless and cold blooded crime lord, and Wilson Fisk became Matt Murdock's greatest enemy in the process. Over the years, he's done nothing but make Daredevil's life a living hell, and their battles have been some of the most brutal and memorable in all of comics. Thanks to Miller, a C-List Spidey villain would become an A-List Daredevil one.
