10. Joss Whedon Stopped Her From Appearing In Smallville
Batman and Wonder Woman never appeared alongside Superman in Smallville, and in the latter's case, it was all Avengers: Age of Ultron director Joss Whedon's fault. There were plans put in place for Diana to show up, but Whedon's Wonder Woman movie was in and out of development for so long, she was ultimately made unavailable to The CW series. When that, George Miller's Justice League, and the 2011 TV series all fell apart, The CW started moving ahead with Amazon. That show would have focused on the hero as a youngster, but it was shelved by the network in favour of The Flash. Now she's getting a movie, plans for Wonder Woman on the small screen have been scrapped altogether.
