18. Her Back Caused More Controversy Than Her Boobs
Wonder Woman was depicted in a skimpy costume from the very start, and so it's perhaps not a real surprise that it didn't take parents long to start complaining. Basically, they weren't happy with Diana showing so much of herself off to impressionable young readers, and in the 40s, it was actually her back which caused an uproar for some reason. Of course, her breasts weren't so ridiculously big back then, so perhaps that's why they focused on the area that was even more exposed. Despite these complaints, no major alterations were made to the costume at the time, and her back has remained uncovered ever since! The amount of cleavage on show usually depends on who the artist is however.
