Proving perhaps that Kevin Feige has always wanted to create a shared universe for Marvel's superheroes, Hugh Jackman revealed in 2013 that the former X-Men producer pushed for Wolverine to make a cameo appearance in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man. He was only going to walk through the shot or have some sort of very small non-speaking role, but the actor says that it didn't come together because they couldn't find Wolverine's suit in time. You have to imagine that there were bigger legal issues at play behind the scenes, but this would have undoubtedly topped the character's hilarious cameo in X-Men: First Class.
