If you have the most self-conscious comic book character of all time, and he is defined by his ability to break the rules, why not use him to repeatedly mock one of the most iconic figures in your biggest rival's comic book universe? Here's Deadpool, Marvel's clown prince, dressed up as a rather ridiculous looking parody of DC's Batman. OK, so he's wearing a child's bed sheet and cat ears, and Marvel clearly got cold feet at the thought of using Batman's full name ("NOPE."). But it's still pretty funny that Deadpool references characters that technically don't even exist in his own universe.
