5 Reasons Why Batman: Zero Year Won't Disappoint

5. Greg Capullo

I typically hate referring to people as €œa beast€ because it gets thrown around way too casually nowadays, but the reality is that Greg Capullo is, in fact, a beast. The man pumps out, on average, two full pages a day. That is insane, especially if you€™re familiar with the art that he€™s been drawing for Batman. He is also extremely passionate about what he does. If you follow him on Twitter then you€™ve no doubt seen when he posts a finished panel, decides that he doesn€™t like a minor detail, then throws it out and starts from scratch.

Capullo has also voiced a serious disdain for when he feels that his artwork has become €œtoo realistic.€ Combine this mentality with some of the more fantastical aspects of the caped crusader, and he has already shown that he is capable of delivering high caliber art that puts his name in contention when discussing the best Batman artists. So getting to see him draw a younger Bruce Wayne, a fledgling Batman, and various first encounters with the now infamous rogue gallery promises to be a real treat.
