5 Reasons Why Comics Are Better Than Ever Right Now

1. Comics Are More Accessible Than Ever

If you want to get into comic books, then you are in the perfect day and age to do so than ever before!

While the speculator bubble bursting has helped ensure that comic books aren't going to be sold in grocery stores where newbies can easily pick them up anymore - which is a problem - sites like Comixology and recently DC Universe have helped to really make up for that setback.

Speaking of DC Universe - the comics really are what makes it so worth the subscription. They have every run they have the rights to, neatly separated by era and generally organized better than any hole in the wall comic shop could hope to. And Comixology isn't too shabby either, since - obviously - it has a lot broader access.

The problem with comic shops is that they're not in every city, and even when they are, they're not easy to find, and often nigh impossible to navigate, with tons of comics stuffed in boxes willy nilly.

But now, comic books are more available and accessible than they've been in years, and indie creators have more sources of revenue and success than they would selling in brick and mortar stores exclusively. That's the biggest reason why comics are better now than ever before.
