5 Silly Times Superman And Batman Swapped Identities

1. Clark Crashes Bruce's Birthday

Superman Batman besties
DC Comics

In this brightly colored and wonderfully funny comic, a young Clark Kent takes the place not of Batman but of Bruce Wayne.

Clark is in a plane crash that lands him and the pilot in water near a lavish yacht party for Bruce’s birthday. In what feels like a self-referential nod to how really similar these two look, all the drunk partying young adults just assume Clark is actually the billionaire heir of Wayne Enterprises.

The only person who recognizes the situation for what it is (an attractive and very interested redhead) informs Clark that Bruce hasn’t shown to any party in years. He's basically been a recluse since he was 12. So Clark parties hard, pretending to be the the birthday boy. When guilt rises up and he admits to a few people in the hot tub that he isn’t really Bruce Wane, they just assume he’s having an existential crisis and deadpan, “deep.”

This comic is everything one wants from fun fluff with some silly action thrown in when Deathstroke appears. There's nothing more funny then an increasingly distressed and confused Deathstroke trying to murder a drunken and invulnerable Clark.

West loves pop culture, movies, comics and TV-shows just as much as you do. Probably. Since you're reading this. Also, she has a cat. He's pretty awesome.
