5 Things The 90's Taught Us About Comics

3. Continuity Reboots Can Be Confusing

I€™m sure when Crisis On Infinite Earths was ending people were confused and angry about the new continuity, but the good thing was that they stuck to it, and the same can be said about Marvel€™s history - tiny tweaks here and there, but nothing major. Now we have massive retcons, multiple Earths, and enough character resurrections to make your head spin - more of which soon. When you can€™t pick up a book without a massive guide to who is who and what the hell is going on, you have a problem. The solution is simple - stay with one world and if you have a brilliant idea that fits outside that realm take it to Elseworlds or the Ultimate universe. I don€™t even bother trying to figure out the New 52: Tim Drake was Robin, but he wasn€™t Robin, he was Red Robin. Oh, and his name isn€™t really Tim Drake. It all gets rather baffling.
