6 Reasons Valiant Will Be The Next Big Thing In Comics

5. They Have Genuinely Great Characters

Bloodshot Reborn
Valiant Comics

One of the reasons we read comic books is to escape into a world of supremely empowered beings that could never exist in our world. It is difficult to call any character wholly original, as all works of fiction influence each other and it’s impossible to define the source of inspiration. However, the most important thing is the quality of the story being told and an exciting take on the characters involved.

You could compare Bloodshot to Jason Bourne; the perfectly engineered soldier with a memory problem. Except imagine Jason Bourne with a body full of regenerating nanites that won’t let him die and allow others to fight for control of his mind and body.

Some might say that Gilad The Eternal Warrior is just like Captain America; they’re both very morally motivated warriors from a time gone by, but Gilad has been around since 3268 B.C. He is ageless and carries the responsibility of defending the Geomancers, a lineage of people chosen to protect the earth from catastrophic threats. Ninjak might be seen as a Batman duplicate. Both of them are heavily trained fighters with no powers, but a bevy of gadgets at their disposal. However, Ninjak is not just a fighter. He is one of the smartest men in the world, an expert computer hacker and a master spy. Those are just three exciting characters from Valiant’s lineup.
