7 Best Friendships In Marvel Comics

2. Matthew Murdock & Foggy Nelson

Spider-Man Human Torch Roommates
Marvel Comics

Since their first meeting while in college, Foggy Nelson has stuck with his friend, Matthew Murdock, through thick and thin, despite the utter ridiculous nature of the Man Without Fear's life.

Though their friendship may not have been tested in the fires of fighting on opposing sides of a superhero Civil War, the pair have been through some much more personal tough times together, most notably with Matt's struggle with depression following Karen Page's death - not to mention his other countless downward spirals - as well as during Foggy's battle with cancer.

In addition with their non-legal battles, the two have shared quite a journey across the courtrooms of New York, with the pair, for a long time, having their own legal practice called Nelson & Murdock (as you may have seen in the Daredevil Netflix show). Most recently, Foggy has supported Matt in his journey to the US Supreme Court, battling against the legal might of Wilson Fisk in order to get a ruling which would allow vigilantes to testify without removing their masks.

As you may expect, the trust between the two is immense, with Foggy initially being the only person to know of Matt's double life after the Purple Children erased Murdock's secret from the memory of the public.
