8 Comics Famous Comic Creators Don't Want You To Know About

3. American God's Neil Gaiman (Cherry Poptart)

The Killing Joke
Last Gasp

Neil Gaiman is known for astounding literary work, such as American Gods (now a show by HBO) and The Sandman, a critically acclaimed comic that was so good it changed how fantasy awards were given out. Almost all of his works are near high-brow, and ones you wouldn't be ashamed to be caught reading.

Then there's Cherry Poptart. The Cherry Poptart series is a set of comic books detailing the misadventures of Cherry and her friends, all in an art style specifically designed to copy that of Archie Comics. Cherry, and most of her friends, are all based on different Archie Comics.

In Cherry Poptart, all of them have sex with each other, in the weirdest, crudest, lewdest, and rudest ways imaginable, and Neil Gaiman wrote an issue of this comic. Elsewhere, he has commented that even writing a sex scene in a book can take him weeks, so it's a miracle he managed to script an entire comic about sex without blushing so hard he died.
