1. Black Cat (Not That One)

First appeared in Pocket Comics #1, published by Harvey Comics

Former stuntwoman, Linda Turner, created the Black Cat persona in order to expose the director on one of her films as a Nazi spy. On top of her skills learned through stunt work, she was a skilled motorcyclist and had a black belt in Judo.

Interestingly, she eventually took in the young acrobat Kit Weston, whose parents and fellow members of the Flying Westons died in a circus fire started by Fire Bug. Kit eventually became Black Cat’s sidekick, known as Black Kitten.
