Holiday Knights is fondly remembered by fans of Batman: The Animated Series, regardless of the design shift introduced by The New Batman/Superman Adventures.
Set during the Holidays, Bruce Wayne finds himself under the control of Poison Ivy's new and improved control drug, and at the beck and call of her and Harley, who've rekindled their partnership in the aftermath of the Harley and Ivy episode a few seasons earlier. The duo lead Wayne across Gotham, clearing his credit carts wherever they go, and leaving the billionaire to carry all their shopping while they do.
Their plan eventually unravels as Bruce begins to develop an immunity to the drug, eventually falling down an elevator shaft and being left for dead by both Harley and her partner in crime.
Bruce eventually emerges out of the shaft and dons his cape and cowl to take his revenge, and while he wouldn't be worrying about his finances, this ended up being Harley's 'Almost got 'im' moment - only, she didn't know he was Batman.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
