8 X-Men Who Became Avengers

Rogue has come a long way since her beginnings in the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants under the manipulation of her adopted mother, Mystique. Luckily for the Marvel Universe, Rogue put in the time and more than her share of the work to earn the trust and respect of her fellow X-Men, which has even allowed her to lead several X-Men teams over the years.

She hasn't always had the best relationship with Earth's Mightiest Heroes as she shared a long-standing rivalry and disdain with Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. Despite this, Rogue was rolled into the Avengers as part of the Avengers Unity Squad and eventually became its leader.

Although the initial Unity Squad largely disbanded it was reformed with a number of new members, including Deadpool and Quicksilver - both of whom caused a lot of headaches for Rogue. Deadpool because of his nature and his friction with the overall team and Quicksilver due to his constant insubordination.
