Jerad Miller and his wife Amanda Miller went on a shooting spree through Las Vegas on June 8, 2014. The couple killed three people during the rampage, before dying themselves after a lengthy police shootout. The couple were targeting police, and their rampage began after they ambushed and killed two Las Vegas police officers at a restaurant. After the shooting, they fled into a nearby Walmart, where they shot and killed an armed civilian that tried to intervene. Cornered by police, Jerad Miller was killed in the ensuing gunfire, and Amanda Miller committed suicide after being wounded. In the months leading up to the spree, Jerad Miller had posted several videos on YouTube in he was dressed as the Joker.
