A-Z of Judge Dredd - 26 Important Things You Must Know

Y is for Al Sapienza

OK, so a lot of you are probably scratching your heads at our choice for Y. Not only does Al Sapienza not begin with (or for that matter contain) a letter Y, but who exactly is this guy? Well, it's a bit of a cheat really. You see, in the original Dredd movie Al is the guy who (shock horror) removes Dredd's legendary helmet exposing Sly Stallone's ugly mug to the world. On IMDB and the end credits he is listed simply as 'Young Judge who removes Dredd's helmet'. So, in a roundabout way Y is for Young Judge that removes Dredd's helmet. You can judge us later - pun intended.

Z is for Dredd Vs Zombies (iOS)

There have been several attempts to bring Judge Dredd to live via the means of a first person shooter across variou platforms but sadly they've all sucked. The exception to this is the frankly genius Dredd Vs Zombies game on from Fuse Powered Inc and available on your iPhone. With it's simple 'single stick' controls and 30 levels of gameplay it has quickly become one of the most popular shooters available from the App Store. If you haven't downloaded it yet then do it now before it gets bumped up in price with the imminent release of Dredd in cinemas this September.
