Batman: 10 Most Iconic Locations in the History of the Dark Knight

6. Wayne Manor

You can€™t really get much more iconic than the very place in which the man beneath the Cowl spends€ well, in all honesty, he spends very little of his time there. That said, it is such a repeated location that despite his constant absence, we€™ve still seen it again and again throughout Bat-history. It€™s been shown in various lights; sometimes it€™s lively, lived in by Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson and the other members of the Bat family. Sometimes it€™s empty, disused, a relic of the life that Wayne had ripped away from him that fateful night in Crime Alley. You€™ll see Wayne Manor in almost every issue, every episode, every movie; it€™s arguably one of the most important and iconic locations in the entire Bat-canon. Overlooking his city, Wayne Manor is the perfect front for Batman€™s base of operations. Without it, he€™d simply be a half-crazed vigilante with a dank, subterranean cave to his name. With it, he hides in about as plain sight as you can get as Gotham€™s favourite son.
