Batman: 8 Incredibly Dark Joker Moments We'll Never See On Screen

1. Skinning Monty Alive

Almost twenty years after The Killing Joke, in 2008, the Joker got his own graphic novel. While not technically canon, the story served as an almost Elseworld€™s tale, depicting the Joker€™s rising criminal empire soon after his release from jail; all in a neo-noir-like atmosphere. The novel begins with the Joker being released from Arkham Asylum by one of his former goons called Monty, who€™s now a high-ranking member in the criminal underworld. Unfortunately, Monty makes the mistake of having Harley Quinn hired as a stripper in his club and the Joker takes him to the backroom where he skins him alive. To make it clear to everyone that he means business, the Joker leads the horrifying man to the audience and leaves him to die on stage. Why It Won't Be Done... This is an event that really speaks for itself: the only film I€™ve seen that€™s shown someone get skinned alive was Martyrs, and that falls under the torture porn category of splatter films. Even the R-rated Silence Of The Lambs, which centres around a serial killer that skins his victims, didn€™t show a body at all. Good luck trying to make a PG-13 depiction. Red Stewart is big fan of the entertainment industry, with insights into film, television, and video games for starters. Despite growing up in the 21st century's era of modernization, he prefers many retro era ideas over the current trends found in many of today's media. Personally he's an introvert who loves reading as much as gaming.
