Batman: The Adventures Continue - Everything We Know About BTAS' Return

1. It Could Lead To More DCAU-Inspired Comics

Okay, so there's no actual confirmation that the DCAU adventures will continue past this six-issue miniseries, but it wouldn't be too over-the-top to assume that DC Comics will be watching closely to see how they sell and how they're received by the fans. And if they're a resounding success on all fronts - which they should be given the team that's involved - you'd have to think they'd at least consider expanding further into the DCAU once again.

The response to the revival has already been great - and that's before it's even been released - so it's clear that there's a market for it. Thus, whether DC decide to continue the BTAS comic book adventures past the six issues or revive another DCAU show in comic form (Superman: The Animated series revival, anyone?), you can rest assured it would be lapped up by the fans.

The fact that we're all so excited at the prospect of another entry in the DCAU - be it comic or animation - really does speak volumes as to how adored the franchise was. And, who knows? If Batman: The Adventures Continue is really successful, maybe we'll even get another animated offering. We can dream, right?
