What if Marvel killed Wolverine, but kept it a mystery how he died? It sounds odd, but for many years the character's own history was completely unknown, so wouldn't it be clever if Wolverine died, and all his friends talk about how he is dead, but readers never actually find out how? Yes, it would infuriate many, but as this list makes apparent, there are numerous ways Wolverine could die, and every person undoubtedly has their own favorite way. Were Marvel to kill Logan off and have the gall to not tell comic-fans how it happened, that would be ballsy, and pretty awesome. It is easy to do also, they just show him leaving for some sort of mission and then cut to the funeral, then every fan could imagine their own perfect way he died. Honestly though, Marvel would probably not be able to keep it a mystery for long at all and would have a big reveal to sate fans' curiosity. The fact Marvel probably wouldn't commit to this makes it less cool than it seems at first.
