3. Decapitation

It was mentioned earlier that depending on who is writing Wolverine, it can be easier or harder to kill him. Interestingly enough, there seems to have often been an agreement among most stories about Wolvie that should his head be chopped off--especially with special weapons such as the Muramasa blade--he has to either get it reattached soon, or he'll be DOA. Considering the Muramasa blade was what Logan used to kill Sabertooth some years ago (before Marvel promptly brought him back not too much later) the concept isn't without precedent. It isn't extremely flashy, but it definitely is dramatic and would make for a shocking image--and if there is one thing comic companies love, it's a nice, shocking image.
