Every Time Thor Has Died In Comics (And How He Came Back To Life)

Proving that it's not just the Odinson that's cursed to die a bunch of times while Thor, Fane Joster also takes her fair swing at being dead in Mighty Thor #705, after sacrificing Mjolnir by throwing it into the sun while attached to the evil and indestructible Mangog, ending its life for once and for all.

Only problem with this is that Jane is being kept alive by the hammer's powers, having been suffering from terminal breast cancer until Mjolnir made her essentially invulnerable. But with its destruction came her death, as she would succumb to her illness immediately afterwards.

Mercifully, though, this would not last long, as Thor and Odin would channel the storm that had been trapped within Mjolnir to bring Jane back to life, allowing her to later take on the role of Valkyrie that we know her as today.
