Every Weapon In Wonder Woman's Arsenal

4. Her Animals

Wonder Woman Sword Shield
DC Comics

Diana's extreme empathy with animals makes her a highly skilled rider. Despite being able to technically command animals to bend to her will, she prefers to see them as allies and treats them accordingly. Diana grew up riding, loves to do so, and is still close to her critters back home.

Horses were common on Themyscira. Diana's favourite and the horse that she learned her equestrian skills on was Kachi. She has ridden him into battle many times since.

Themyscira is also home to a race of alien kangaroo-like creatures called, naturally enough, kangas. Kangas were introduced way back in 1942 and have been a fixture of Paradise Island since. Diana's kanga is named Jumpa, and although it can be ridden, Wonder Woman confided in Batman that she sees Jumpa as a pet, not a working animal, and that she is very fond of her.

Wonder Woman has occasionally ridden other animals, either for pleasure or because she is without powers. On one adventure she, Superman, and Batman used a trio of unicorns for transport, and on Earth-2 (one of DC's many alternate worlds), Wonder Woman has ridden both black and white winged horses.
