Every X-Men Team - Ranked From Worst To Best

The Hellions are another group of edgier young mutants, hence their similar low-ranking to the Fallen Angels.

For most of their existence, the Hellions were actually enemies of the X-Men and its splinter groups, rather than fighting alongside them. As to be expected by the youth of most members, this put the team in direct opposition with the New Mutants and then later X-Force.

Created by Emma Frost though, the Hellions evolved into part of the Xavier Institute when Frost stopped (well, paused) trying to kill the X-Men, yet the rivalry between them and the New Mutants still remained.

Thankfully, the only element the current version has retained is the name, with the group now being made up of the likes of Havok and Psylocke and being tasked with cleaning up Mister Sinister's messes. It makes the team far more interesting but sadly does not rid it of its previous incarnations.
