Every X-Men Team - Ranked From Worst To Best
10. Fallen Angels
The simplest way of describing the Fallen Angels is as the New Mutants, but edgier.
The incident that prompts the original group's formation is Sunspot throwing Cannonball into a tree, yet the first issue's cover is comparable to the dramatic image of Miles Morales murdering Captain America on that infamous Civil War II cover - a sense of hyperbole that continues within the actual pages of the book.
The more recent iteration sees X-23, Psylocke, the younger version of Cable, and others on a 'quest for vengeance', continuing the tradition of edginess.
The thing is, the X-Men already have an edgy offshoot team, one that has been far better established, had more interesting storylines, and better rosters - it's called X-Force. X-23's being a member of the Fallen Angels is the only thing that gives it any points, really.
