2. Hank Pym/Ultron
If you take the notion of fatherhood as creating life in your image, then Ant-Man aka Hank Pym creating Ultron, a robot based upon Pyms brain patterns, kind of makes Pym Ultrons dad. Making his first appearance in Avengers #54 (1968), Ultron quickly developed his own intelligence, rebelling against Pym and hating his father, even partly suffering an Oedipus complex toward Hanks wife Janet van Dyne aka Wasp. Ultron would go through many versions of himself, as he constantly upgraded his technological makeup to become better at one point encasing himself in adamantium, the indestructible fictional metal that makes up Wolverines skeleton and claws with each version trying to destroy Pym, the Avengers, and the world. But Hank Pym creating Ultron was just the beginning of what would become one of the weirdest family units in all comics (certainly the strangest on this list). Ultron went on to create the Vision an android Ultron refers to as a synthezoid and a cyborg called Victor Mancha. Pym essentially becomes grandfather to this strange family unit and Ultron a father! Ultron created Vision following a similar method that Pym used to create Ultron, using the brain patterns of the then-deceased Simon Williams aka Wonder Man, and used a clone of the original Human Torch to make Visions body. Vision would become a key member of the Avengers after turning against his father and Victor Mancha too would rebel against Ultron and become a member of the Runaways. But Vision himself would end up marrying Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch and, thanks to Wandas hex powers, have twin boys together, William and Thomas, making Ultron a grandfather and Pym a great-grandfather (though sadly William and Thomas would later die and drive Scarlet Witch insane with grief)! Ultron would go on to take over Earth in the Marvel Event, Age of Ultron, causing characters to compare Pym to the father of Hitler, but thanks to Brian Michael Bendis chaotic story arc, Ultron never existed anyway so Hanks not the worst father in the world, just a pretty terrible one - at least in theory!
