Harleen: Everything You Need To Know About DC's New Harley Quinn Comic

There's no doubt that Harley Quinn is one of the most popular characters that DC currently has so it's no surprise that they are doubling down on her and releasing not one, not two, but three new comics where she's the main focal point.

Obviously, there's Harleen, but there's also a new Joker/Harley story in the pipeline called 'Criminal Insanity'. This nine-issue mini-series is going to focus on the relationship between Harley and the Joker just as Harleen does, but it sounds as if writer Kami Garcia and artists Mike Mayhew and Mico Suayan are going more down the serial-killer route and sprinkling a lot of horror into the mix.

There's also a new Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy comic on the horizon that's going to take a look at the relationship between the two and explore how they're lovers.

No matter how you cut it that's a lot of Harley books. Whether or not this is a good thing remains to be seen, as there's always the chance that DC is going to oversaturate the market as they have done with their other beloved characters. If you happen to be the kind of reader that can't get enough of Harley however, then the sheer array of Quinn books on shelves is sure to get you very excited indeed.
