How The Flash Would Defeat Each Member Of The Justice League

8. Aquaman

Flash Superman Death
DC Comics

In the case of Aquaman, King of the Seven Seas isn’t just a boast. When fully hydrated and on the water, especially an ocean, Arthur Curry is a nearly unstoppable force; he has delivered blows strong enough to stagger even Superman and Wonder Woman. Additionally, he commands the beings of the deep, so an unseen attack from multiple creatures could happen before Flash knew what hit him. Even with his reaction speed, Barry will have trouble not coming up on the bad end of a shark or three.

While the Flash has demonstrated many times that he can run on the water, it requires concentration. To win this fight, the Sultan of Speed needs to remove the advantage that the water gives Arthur and move the fight onto solid ground. Even there, however, the Sea King won’t go down easy. His hybrid nature means that he is between 20% to 50% stronger than his fellow Atlantians on land and, to be blunt, he has a very hard head, so it takes a lot to knock him out.

Flash’s best bet is to take Aquaman by surprise and transport him immediately to one of the world’s deserts so that Arthur quickly becomes dehydrated. Then Barry needs to engage in a blitz attack where he hits and runs at the Marine Marvel from multiple angles, multiple times to keep him disoriented before hitting Aquaman with a final speed-assisted super-strong punch to knock him out.
