Even if you're an avid comic fan, you may not know the M.O.D.O.K. which the Avengers regularly face in recent comics is not the original M.O.D.O.K. During the World War Hulks storyline in 2011, Amadeus Cho neutralised the mutagenics in M.O.D.O.K.'s body, reverting him to normal.

Although George Tarleton was happy to be back in his own body, he was horrified after he acknowledged the atrocities he committed as M.O.D.O.K. Tartleton told Hulk and his friends that he joined AIM in the pursuit of knowledge and had no idea about the company's ulterior motives.

Despite the fact it looked like M.O.D.O.K. was gone for good, there was a problem. Years ago, M.O.D.O.K. prepped a clone that would activate in the event of his death. After Cho changed Tarleton back to normal, M.O.D.O.Ks' robot army activated M.O.D.O.K. Superior.

This version is more dangerous than the original since he has less nerve endings, granting him a high tolerance for pain.

His hoverchair has spider-like legs, giving him far more manoeuvrability and he can use the appendages to strike at anyone nearby. The chair is equipped with far more weapons including a rocket launcher, a mini-gun, a chainsaw, a buzzsaw, and a flamethrower.
