Everyone once in a while, heroes and villains join forces to take on a common enemy. When M.O.D.O.K. found himself at odds with AIM's Scientist Supreme, Andrew Forson, he defected to S.H.I.E.L.D. He told S.H.I.E.L.D. director, Maria Hill, he would provide her with enough intel to permanently quash A.I.M. if he was granted amnesty.

You know what's the craziest part? Since M.O.D.O.K. was working on the field under the direct command of S.H.I.E.L.D., he was technically an Avenger! Of course, M.O.D.O.K. intended to destroy S.H.I.E.L.D. the first chance he got because... it's freaking M.O.D.O.K.! He's as evil as supervillains get!

But that isn't the only time superheroes have been desperate enough (or dumb enough) to work with this literal big brain. When the skyscraper-sized Ultimo and an army of Deathloks rampaged through Lingares, M.O.D.O.K. realised he was outnumbered and had to team up with War Machine and his group, Force Works.

When War Machine blasted off Ultimo's head, only then M.O.D.O.K. reveal the truth; the giant robot and the Deathloks were activated... by him! M.O.D.O.K. then attached himself to Ultimo's beheaded body, turning him into the gargantuan UltiM.O.D.O.K.! The moral of the story is simple; NEVER team up with M.O.D.O.K. Ever.
