MCU Phase 4: 10 Romances We Want To See Post-Infinity Saga
1. Mister Fantastic And The Invisible Woman
Let's face it. The Fantastic Four have never been used to their maximum potential on the big screen.
With one unreleased film, two average films, and one downright terrible reboot, the first family of superheroes in Marvel Comics deserves to be given the MCU treatment. This involves ensuring the power couple that is Mr. Fantastic and The Invisible Woman are also properly portrayed as well.
The wedding between Reed and Sue was one of the biggest, if not the biggest, weddings in Marvel lore. The characters were driven to each other out of a simple, mutual admiration for each other. That's not to say that they haven't had their ups and down of course, with Reed usually being so drawn to his work that he often neglects Sue. This tension is only exacerbated once they obtain their powers.
Thankfully, their love for each other far supersedes any challenge or issue threatening their marriage. Their relationship is built on recognizing each other as equals, which only translates to their effectiveness as a unit when battling evil together with Johnny and Ben.
If the MCU is able to successfully translate their romance to a future film, and why wouldn't they be able to, then we could even see the introduction of Reed and Sue's son: Franklin. As one of the most powerful Marvel characters to ever exist, Franklin would surely add complexity to the MCU's overall story, post-Infinity Saga. And it all starts with Mr. Fantastic and The Invisible Woman.
