MCU Phase 5: 10 Insane Predictions You Need To Know

4. Doctor Doom Becomes Sorcerer Supreme

There are many things that make Doctor Doom one of the coolest damn villains ever, but one of the biggest feathers in his cap is the fact that he's both a mad scientist AND a sorcerer. In fact in the comics, he's even come so close to the title of sorcerer supreme that Aged Genghis straight up offered him whatever he wanted as a consolation in Roger Stern and Mike Mignola's Doctor Strange: Triumph And Torment.

However, in the MCU version of these events, what if Doom... doesn't come in second. What if he becomes sorcerer supreme?

It's not like it would be hard, seeing as his only real competition is Doctor Strange so if anything happened to him at the end of his trilogy, there'd be nothing to stop him. And wouldn't that just be the perfect "oh sh*t" moment for an after credits scene? In the same vein as Thanos getting his hands on the Infinity Gauntlet.

It's not something that's absolutely needed to make Doctor Doom come off as the ultimate final boss of the MCU's fifth phase, this is one of the baddest mother lovers in Marvel canon after all. But it would definitely be an effective one.
