MCU's Kate Bishop & The Young Avengers: Everything You Need To Know

6. How Is She Hawkeye As Well As Clint?

Kate joined the superhero business in the wake of Avengers Disassembled, in which Clint was killed by Vision. Since then, she has embraced the Hawkeye name after Jessica Jones gifted Barton's bow, with a note from Cap addressed to "Hawkeye".

During Civil War, the new Hawkeye bumps into Clint Barton, though they are unaware of his true identity. Barton had returned after reality was restored by Scarlet Witch in House of M. He approached Stark, who offered him the suit and shield of the recently deceased Captain America.

Kate left a strong impression on Barton, causing him to abandon Stark's team and heads out on his own as Ronin, but that wasn't the last the two would see of each other.

The two come to blows as Barton attacks her in order to test her ability. He invites her back to the Secret Avengers hideout and challenges her. Kate loses and as a result has to give up the name and bow.

However, it's not long before Bishop proves her worth. Recognising her skill and leadership ability, he later gives his blessing for her to use the name. Even when Barton reclaims the title, he still lets Kate use it, claiming the world is big enough for two Hawkeyes.
