6. Riddle Me That (Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight 186-189, Batman 698-9)
The Riddler pulls a huge scheme, and totally screws with Batman. He ends up ensnaring the Caped Crusader in a huge trap where, even when he finally thinks he's winning, the Dark Knight realizes that he's played straight into the Nygma's plan. The Riddler has had two great stories as of late. Hush, which I mentioned before is too mainstream for this list, and this. Edward Nygma is usually played down as a joke villain, especially in the movies. Here, Nygma can match wits with Batman. One of the best parts of The Dark Knight were Joker's mind games with Batman. The Riddler's best stories are built around mind games. This could be a crime thriller that will blow everyone out of the water, especially if it pulls a few twists and turns along the way.
