Secret Six: 9 Things You Need To Know
3. There's Serious Crossover Potential
It's important to remember that Secret Six literally started out as a crossover event, because once that particular series wrapped up, they ended up featuring in a whole host of different series'.
The biggest - and maybe even their best - was a crossover with the Birds of Prey book, where it pitted the all-gal team against the mercenaries for the actual soul of the character Ice. The teams, though battling, complemented each other and not only made Secret Six look like a legitimate team, but also showcased that there are only minor differences between a morally ambiguous mercenary group, and the more stereotypically benevolent Birds of Prey - though they too were going through their own shake ups at the time.
The Secret Six may not boast as great a level of fame as the Justice League or Suicide Squad, but they were just as involved in the DC Universe as those respective teams, heading to Gotham City and facing the Bat-Family, or running into Wonder Woman in the middle of a fight in their main series.
Similar with guest-appearances and sixth slot members, the premise of the book allows for characters from other shows, comics, or just big names with no previous on-screen presence to crossover fluidly, and it's something we should expect to see in the TV show too.
