Spider-Man - 10 Worst Things J. Jonah Jameson Has Ever Done

6. Hired Both Mysterio And Electro Against Spider-Man

The nice thing about J. Jonah Jameson is that he's a fair and principled sort of man, right? At least, that seems to be the case for the goons he's willing to hire in order to take Spider-Man down.

Back in the Amazing Spider issue #142, Jameson approached Daniel Berkhart, aka Mysterio II, to attack Spidey. This attempt to bring down the wall-crawler was quickly stopped however, which is a bit of a trend for Jameson...

The Daily Bugle's editor-in-chief was also approached by Electro in the Amazing Spider-Man vol.1 #82, with the Sinister Six supervillain hoping to humiliate Spider-Man live on primetime television. Jameson was more than happy to front the bill of Electro's services, and the encounter proved to be one of Spidey's toughest ever.

That wasn't the only time Jameson, Electro and Spider-Man had found themselves crossing paths either, with the editor-in-chief even finding the time to go as far as to accuse Spidey of being Electro at one time.

JJ's flawless deduction at the time was centred around the fact that both of these characters could cling to walls, which really is a good example of the amount of fact-checking that goes into his stories.
