Spider-Man - 10 Worst Things J. Jonah Jameson Has Ever Done

4. Used The Spidey Slayer Against His Own Daughter-in-Law

Undeterred by his own failings and, y'know, the literal death of a man not being on his conscience, Jameson would continue his Spider-Slayer attacks even after the Spencer Smythe debacle.

Coming across the very original Slayer that the Reanimator had stored in his collection, Jameson would actually choose to switch his targets up a little and go after someone other than Spider-Man, opting instead for his new daughter-in-law, She-Hulk.

She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters) had fallen in love with Jameson's son, John, and the two had gotten married during the events of Civil War.

It's fair to say that even for a man with as many stress-related heart attacks as Jameson, his timing could've probably been a little better.

Jameson, ever the progressive, became enraged and took his Spider-Slayer out for a spin against She-Hulk. The attack actually comes when the family are having dinner, but of course a Spider-Slayer is no use against a Hulk and another loss is chalked up to Jameson when he gives it up in return for Walters' help in suing Spider-Man.
