Spider-Man - 10 Worst Things J. Jonah Jameson Has Ever Done
2. Woefully Underpaid His Employees
Interpretations and portrayals of Peter Parker come and go, with each version giving the world their own unique spins, however all of them share the same trait of all of them being pretty short when it comes to splashing the cash.
And a 'savvy' man like J. Jonah Jameson is always going to be on hand to take advantage of this desperation for money, with Parker being the best example of just how exploited JJ's employees can be. Jameson is constantly firing and then re-hiring his employees, with Parker not even visibly shaken by his sackings in the Raimi trilogy.
On top of that, there's no escaping the fact that Peter Parker is sitting on a potential goldmine of a career with his ability to get shots of himself as Spider-Man that no one else in the world could get. The fact that he's only ever kept on as a Daily Bugle contributing freelancer, rather than tied down and given a fixed salary, also shows just how much of a cheapskate Jameson really is.
There probably isn't enough money in the world for the likes of Hoffman, Betty Brant and Robbie to stomach spending everyday with Jameson and all of his ranting and raving, though.
