The Walking Dead: 10 Comic Moments That Went Too Far
4. Billy And Ben's Demise
After all the surviving group members of the Prison finally re-group they begin travelling with Abraham, Eugene and Rosita to Washington D.C to hopefully find a cure for the virus.
This gives the group the first bit of hope they've had in a while, but it's quickly spoilt when Ben kills his twin brother Billy, saying it doesn't really matter because he'll reanimate soon because he didn't "hurt his brains."
The group then have to deal with the horror of an unstable and dangerous five year old who doesn't understand the concept of death. Killing a kid is horrible, but it's something that some group members consider.
Dale and Andrea insist on protecting him, but even they don't feel comfortable sleeping in the same place as him. It really seems like it could tear the group apart.
As if an unstable murdering child wasn't enough, it's actually Carl who decides to take justice in his own hands and kill Billy. It's a mystery to the group who is responsible, but soon enough Rick learns that it was his own son who killed the five year old.
The two wouldn't properly discuss the matter until they reached Alexandria, where Carl explains how he was only following on from Rick's example. It's heavy stuff when you think about it.
