The X-Men Comic Marvel Fans Are Ignoring (And Why They Shouldn't)
3. ...And So's Everything That's Followed
After the climactic ending of the tenth issue, readers are left with a very different type of X-Men story.
The tale turns from one of large scale action to one of a more focused, yet still enjoyable, adventure.
Now, the tables have turned. Disassembled lived up to the promise of the title and brought the group crashing down - turning them from the massive team they were into a tight knit handful of warriors, struggling against a world which hates and fears them - a classic X-book set-up.
This smaller focus combined with the team of writers going from three to the usual one makes for a story that really highlights all the talents of those involved.
So, while Disassembled may have been excellent, this run of Uncanny becomes truly wonderful in its aftermath.
